About The Hyundai Elantra
Good looks and an incredible value for money characterize this popular compact sedan. The Elantra is easy on the wallet, not just to buy, but also to own, thanks to its excellent fuel economy and industry-leading warranty. It even comes with three years (or 36,000 miles) of complimentary routine maintenance. A lot of equipment comes standard, and even fully loaded versions maintain an attractive price. For performance enthusiasts, there is the N Line trim, which comes with a more powerful turbocharged engine, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and quite a few additional performance features, like multi-link rear suspension, and performance tires with unique wheels.
What the Critics Say
In an SUV-dominated world, the compact sedan remains alive and kicking, and the 2025 Hyundai Elantra is one of the most recommendable. No rival can match the 2025 Elantra's terrific combination of powertrain choice, warranty coverage, and feature set. Whether you need low-cost, reliable transportation that earns up to 36 mpg combined or are seeking a track-ready sports sedan with a manual transmission, the Elantra offers it, wrapped in eye-catching design. - Kelley Blue Book
The Hyundai Elantra stands out with its high fuel economy, impressive technology and safety features, and roomy cabin. It's also comfortable and strong on value. - Edmunds
What's New For 2025
The former SEL trim has been split in two, into the SEL Sport and SEL Convenience trims. The SEL Sport is closer to what the old SEL was, with the SEL Convenience adding more equipment that is much closer to the Limited than the old SEL.
Hyundai Elantra Features

Versatile And Enjoyable
The Elantra offers a number of advantages over other compact sedans. It has a much roomier interior than you would probably expect, and rear legroom is absolutely a standout in the segment. Wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® come standard with an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, although a 10.25-inch touchscreen and 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster are both available. There is a Bose premium stereo with 8 speakers including a center channel and subwoofer to keep audiophiles happy, but those who prefer the sound of a high-revving engine should consider the N Line. This is the performance trim of the Elantra, which includes a turbocharged engine with noticeably more power, as well as a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that can be operated as an automatic, or using the steering wheel-mounted shift paddles.

Stylish and Comfortable
While the Elantra has its share of competitors, none are anywhere near as stylish. Hyundai has been a style leader for mainstream vehicles for some time, and the Elantra is a fantastic example of how affordable doesn't have to be bland. Most trims come with 17-inch wheels, although the N Line comes with a set of 18-inch alloy wheels. The standard dual-LED projector headlights are the sort of thing you would normally associate with high-end luxury cars, and they give the front end of the Elantra a sophisticated look. Inside, cloth seats come standard, but leather is available for those who prefer it, and the N Line has a mix of unique leather and cloth. A 6-way adjustable driver's seat is standard, and heated front seats are available. And to top it all off, the ride is exceptionally comfortable, a standout feature in this segment.

Unbeatable Value
It's hard to miss the excellent value that you get with the Elantra. It comes with a mix of an appealingly low starting price and some of the best fuel economy you can get without the added expense of a hybrid drivetrain. Standard equipment is excellent too, and it includes things like wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, as well as automatic headlight control and selectable drive modes, which are normally extra-cost options in this segment. Even fully loaded and with the optional more powerful turbocharged engine, the Elantra still has a real value advantage over competitors like the Honda Civic, which both starts at a higher price and costs more fully loaded. Options like customizable ambient interior lighting and a premium 8-speaker Bose premium stereo make the Elantra even more enjoyable without pricing out of competition.
