About The Hyundai Venue

Whether it’s because of the practical city-sized usability or the very attractive price, the Hyundai Venue has undeniable appeal. The interior is comfortable, with comfortable seats and ergonomically designed controls. Quite a bit comes standard, particularly safety equipment, but a fully loaded Venue is still incredibly competitively priced. The Venue gets great fuel economy, saving you further money at the pump, and the Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) keeps engine speeds in the right sweet spots for whatever the situation demands. The Venue might be small and maneuverable, but with the back seats folded down, its cargo capacity is far more than you’ve come to expect from an urban commuter vehicle. There’s really no beating the practicality and incredible value for money of the Venue.

What the Critics Say

"The 2025 Hyundai Venue is a terrific choice for daily driving. Packed with tech features, it gives you all the comfort and security of a subcompact sedan plus the taller seating position, better visibility and utility of a small SUV. The Venue is a high-value offering that gives you a lot for a little." - Edmunds

“The Venue cabin is a pleasant place to spend time, and with the 60/40 split-folding rear seats in use, it has 19 cubic feet of cargo room. That volume increases to 32 cubes when the back seat is folded flat.” - Car & Driver

What's New For 2025

There has only been one change to the Venue for 2025, the old Green Apple paint color has been replaced by one called Mirage Green.

Hyundai Venue Features

Hyundai Kona

City Friendly Efficiency

The Venue is great on the highway, but it’s in the city where it outshines the competition. The 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine produces 121 horsepower, which is plenty for a vehicle that only weighs 2,612 pounds. The Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT) further enhances the efficiency of the engine, and the city fuel economy rating for the Venue is surprisingly close to the highway rating, 29 mpg city and 33 mpg highway, which is unusual for a non-hybrid. Thanks to its small footprint, the Venue is incredibly maneuverable, with a turning diameter of just 16.6 feet. That’s a couple of feet short of most compact SUVs, and the resulting ability to easily get in and out of parking garages or to parallel park on the street is just one more way the Venue excels at city life.

Hyundai Venue

Outsized Practicality

The Venue is designed to maximize interior space, a huge advantage over other city-friendly commuter vehicles. This is great for passengers, with 41.3 inches of front legroom for them to stretch out. The 60/40 split folding back seats fold down for 31.9 cubic feet of cargo space. And while most vehicles in this segment don’t offer much space with the back seats up, the Venue still has 18.7 cubic feet of space, more than the trunk space of many larger sedans. The high driving position makes the Venue easy to get in and out of, which is an important feature for a vehicle that’s made to be able to squeeze into tight spaces. There are available selectable drive modes, so if you want some sportier driving, or if you have to drive in the snow, the Venue is prepared to help make that easier.

Hyundai Kona Technology

Superior Equipment

With such an appealing starting price, you might not expect the Venue to be so comfortable and well-equipped. The Venue comes with a standard 8-inch infotainment touchscreen that has wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® as standard, as well as HD Radio™. Safety features are plentiful, and include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA-Ped) with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), and Driver Attention Warning (DAW) all as standard equipment. But it should be noted that the price difference between the base SE trim and the top Limited trim is small enough to keep the Venue more than competitive even when fully loaded. Moving up gets you features like all-LED exterior lighting, heated front seats, wireless device charging, and integrated navigation.
