About The Hyundai Santa Fe
The Hyundai Santa Fe is proof that practicality can look good. You can tell just by looking at it that the Santa Fe has a spacious interior, but it takes a ride in it to fully appreciate the well-appointed interior and comfortable ride. The tech in the Santa Fe is as advanced as the exterior styling promises, and the offroad-ready XRT trim fully realizes the rugged capability that is also present in the Santa Fe's sheet metal. Under the hood is a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that provides ample power, and allows for the 4,500-pound maximum towing capacity. There is a lot of cargo space, even behind the third row of seats, and the standard hands-free liftgate provides an impressively large opening. In all, the Santa Fe fills the gap between the Tuscon and the Palisade impressively.
What the Critics Say
Pleasingly, there's plenty of substance to go along with the style. The 2025 Santa Fe boasts a spacious interior, standard three-row seating, and a big cargo area. A generous list of standard features is another appealing attribute. If Hyundai's Tucson is a bit too small and the Palisade a bit too big, the 2025 Santa Fe could very well hit the SUV sweet spot for you. - Edmunds
There's a niche between compact and midsize SUVs that the Santa Fe is great at filling. For those buyers who don't quite need all the space of something like a Hyundai Palisade, the Santa Fe is going to be a must-consider. And these user-friendly dimensions are only one aspect of a tech-rich, stunning-looking and generally superb SUV that still comes with the reassurance of fantastic warranties. - Kelley Blue Book
What's New For 2025
After the total redesign just last year, the Santa Fe carries on with what still feels like futuristic styling and tech features.
Hyundai Santa Fe Features

Impressive Versatility
The Santa Fe is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 277 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. That's a lot for this segment, and it means that opting for the XRT trim gives you an impressive 4,500-pound maximum towing capacity. This offroad-ready trim also comes with features like standard all-wheel drive, all-terrain tires, and an extra 1.3 inches of ground clearance. Since the Santa Fe isn't the biggest vehicle in the Hyundai lineup, it might come as a surprise that the maximum cargo capacity is a massive 79.6 cubic feet. The standard hands-free tailgate makes accessing this space easy as well, and the interior is full of additional storage cubbies.

Advanced Technology
The Santa Fe makes no effort to hide its impressive technology. You can see this even before getting in, in the form of the advanced LED headlights and taillights. Inside, you'll find a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen that joins up with the available 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster to form a single curved unit. Wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® come standard with this system, and Dynamic Voice Recognition is available. There is available wireless charging, and even dual wireless chargers, as well as high-powered USB charging ports for the front and back. Available Hyundai Pay lets you pay for parking and other services right from the touchscreen in your Santa Fe, while you enjoy the sounds of the available Bose® premium audio with 12 speakers. There's an available head-up display as well, which is a 12-inch windshield type.

Stylish Comfort
Inside and out, the Santa Fe has a stylish and cohesive look to it, featuring rectangular design cues throughout. The exterior styling looks both rugged and sophisticated, especially with the available 21-inch dark finish wheels. Inside, you have a choice of four different upholstery materials, YES Essentials® stain-resistant cloth, H-Tex® leatherette, genuine leather, or Nappa leather. And there are available heated seats for the front and back, as well as front ventilated seats. A leather-wrapped steering wheel is standard, and an eco-suede microfiber headliner is available. And while a second-row bench is standard, you can opt for captains' chairs instead. There are both single- and dual-pane sunroof options to fill the cabin with sunlight, and at night you can enjoy the available ambient lighting.
