Performance
The base IONIQ 6 SE comes with an electric powertrain that produces up to 258 pound-feet of torque and 149 horsepower. However, higher trims can provide 225 horsepower with rear-wheel drive or 320 horsepower and 446 pound-feet of torque with all-wheel drive.
While the lowest trim features a 53-kWh battery, the higher trims use a 77.4-kWh battery. Using a standard 120-volt charger lets you charge the smallest battery to 80 percent in as little as 5 hours and 20 minutes or the largest battery in as little as 6 hours and 55 minutes. A full charge can give Independence, OH adventurers a driving range of up to 361 miles. The IONIQ 6 also has Drive Mode Select with modes like Eco, Sport and Snow.
Technology
Getting directions to a new Medina destination is easy thanks to the built-in navigation system, which come standard with the 12.3-inch touchscreen on every IONIQ 6 sedan. This screen gives you full access to Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® integration and a three-month trial of SiriusXM®. Though most models include a basic audio system, the IONIQ 6 Limited provides Strongsville drivers with an upgraded Bose® premium sound system.
Interior & Exterior
LED headlights, taillights and daytime running lights all come standard on the IONIQ 6. You'll find side mirrors that match the color of the car's body with built-in turn signals and a heated feature that melts any accumulated snow or ice. With the hands-free smart trunk, you get a quick and convenient way to open the trunk without using your hands. Inside are cloth seats that are stain-resistant and an eight-way driver's seat.
Safety
Berea drivers will find an array of useful safety features in the new IONIQ 6, including a rearview monitor and volume controls mounted on the steering wheel, which is heated in some trims. The rearview monitor displays a view from behind the IONIQ 6 on your touchscreen complete with guidance lines that help you park. SmartSense from Hyundai also comes standard and lets you use a host of safety tools like blind spot collision warning, forward collision avoidance and lane keeping assist.
Trim Levels
The IONIQ 6 SE is just one of the available trims. It's the most affordable model but still has some appealing features like 18-inch alloy wheels, fast charging and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that matches the size of your touchscreen. Get 20-inch alloy wheels, wireless device charging and a smart key when you upgrade to the IONIQ 6 SEL. While the IONIQ 6 Limited is the most expensive, many of our Akron customers enjoy the many additional amenities, such as the premium audio system. The IONIQ 6 Limited also gives you a bigger battery, more safety features such as remote smart parking assist and a panoramic sunroof.
